Small yet Great. Not at all pretentious, just amazing food. Can highly recommend if you're over this way

Yummy got to try the strawberry French toast, the homemade corn beef hash eggs Benedict and loco Moco

Soooo...yummy!!! We got there right before closing as we were headed to Pearl City to pick up cookies from @youmadethisforme but needed to have some lunch so found this little Hidden gem on yelp. They close at 1:30p and we got there at 1ish...ordered the Strawberry Stuffed French Toast and the Short Rib Loco Moco and sat in our car to eat. My daughter devoured the French Toast...I had 1 bite and it was delish! The Loco Moco was huge and really yummy! Will definitely be back. And again...didn't take any pic! Fail! Lol...

Honestly I'm ashamed to not have taken pictures of the food I got here. The food was so delicious that both my fiancé and I enjoyed it so much. It was a tad bit busy but they do make sure to tend you and get your order, the place was booming and the food at most took 30 minutes to receive which is crazy bc I ordered like four different meals regardless the food was on point and so was the service. Only thing lacking was the fact that all the seats and all the tables were full and there wasn't any space to sit so we had to take it to go

Been here twice; and I've had the loco moco and strawberry french toast. It looks just like the pictures, and it's not too sweet. Strawberries were fresh and tangy sweet! The standout for me was the loco moco. The gravy is so so good I'm not sure how to describe it; fragrant, peppery, savory and a hint of sweet? We've (my bf and i) have been trying loco mocos around the island and right now this gravy is our favorite by far. They have different meats to put on the loco moco, we've tried the kalua pork and hamburger patty toppings. Loved the kalua pork, the hamburger patty had a nice flavor but was a bit dry, not a big deal as you can drizzle Sriracha, ketchup, soy sauce, gravy or (if u take ur eggs that way) a creamy egg yolk. The plate is packed with rice; my bf and I split a plate and feel full when we're done. They have a few drink options, but i always get coffee . I'm a bit picky with coffee and this is the only place I order it now. Not sure what it is because I think it's just a simple drip coffee, buts it's so pleasant and not bitter(I've had coffees on island that are almost...sour?) at all; very homey for me. It's a small, cozy space, but well ventilated and cool, and very clean. They were playing oldies (the Carpenters, 70s-90s music) so it was a very chill vibe with other customers humming along sometimes lol. This place is suitable for couples, friend groups and small (6 people or less?) Families. Big families can eat here as well but keep in mind the space is small so you may need to wait for space to free up. Staff is friendly and they take pride in their restaurant, spot cleaning as they go, making efficient use of space and even putting cute doodles on their menu board :). Free parking out front right by the door. Neat! I hope this business continues to do well for many years to come and keeps their love and pride for their craft.

This spot is a great place for brunch/lunch food! It could get busy/crowded if you decide to dine in. There's limited seating. With it being so popular, take out might be a little wait as well. But it's all so worth it with the delicious food! I love all their eggs Benny. My favorite is the Korean braised short rib eggs Benny. I wouldn't be surprised if you feel like you'll pass out from a food coma after! I'm definitely looking forward to coming back to try their mix plate during their lunch hours!

**Button Up Cafe in Aiea: A Hidden Gem!** If you're in Aiea and looking for an incredible brunch spot, look no further than Button Up Cafe! This small, cozy hole-in-the-wall may have limited seating, but what it lacks in space, it more than makes up for in quality and service. The staff here are super friendly and work tirelessly to ensure you have an amazing dining experience. Button Up Cafe specializes in local breakfast classics, but what truly drew me in was their famous stuffed French toast. I indulged in their Nutella cream cheese French toast, and it was absolute perfection! The flavors were rich and decadent, making every bite pure bliss. I also tried their spinach, mushroom, and onion egg white omelette with tater tots, and it was equally impressive. The omelette was light, fluffy, and packed with fresh ingredients, while the tater tots were crispy and delicious. Every dish was a masterpiece, and I can't recommend this place enough. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Button Up Cafe is a must-try for any brunch lover. Don't miss out on this hidden gem!

I made the drive out here because I love their hamburger steak! The gravy is a little peppery so it gives the hamburger steak a kick which makes it so unique. The hamburgers are usually cooked well done which is what I prefer but my boyfriend didn't like it because he said it was too hard. It's up to your preference and I'm sure you can ask for your hamburger cooked a certain way. My boyfriend ordered the kalua pork loco moco and he said it was alright. He said he prefers regular loco moco. The restaurant is really small and it gets kind of hot in here. There were flies that we had to keep swatting away which was getting annoying. This is a nice place to try if you're in the area but maybe not worth the drive if you live far away.

This has got to be the best Loco Moco I've had by far, meat was seasoned well, crispy on the edges and juicy in the middle, gravy flavor was perfect! The Ube French Toast was amazingly delicious! Matched perfectly with the fresh fruits and extra scoop of Ube Ice cream The servers were so friendly and nice, definitely felt welcomed. Seating area was limited, but well worth the wait!

What a great, no frills place to come for a delicious brunch! We came on a Tuesday morning around 10am & was seated. It's a small place & almost all the other tables were full. We ordered: Korean braised short ribs eggs Benny Ube cheesecake stuffed French toast 2 cold brew Wow the Korean braised short ribs eggs Benny was sooooo good!!! Short rib was tender, flavorful without being salty, and the hollandaise sauce was yummy!! We got ours with tatertots which were crispy and hot. Ube cheesecake stuffed French toast was good - not amazing but solid & I think if you're a sweets person this would be the way to go. I wouldn't describe this as a typical traditional French toast that you get at American diners - more like a hallowed out chunk of lightly toasted bread with creamy Ube cheesecake filling, Ube sauce, and a pile of whipped cream. Based on the other reviews it seams like the eggs Benny is really the thing to get here & if we ever came back again, we would get the eggs Benny again. I'd love to try the strawberry stuffed French toast next time - it seems like a hit as well. Food came out quickly & bathrooms are outside - ask them for the key. Would definitely come back the next time we're in Hawaii!!
